Currently retired. Helping nonprofits and citizens.

I have a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi on an Army full scholarship. Some graduate work at TAMU. Army Command and General Staff College graduate.

Served in the US Army for 22.5 years. Drafted as a private and was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel, Engineer Branch before retirement. In the Army I was a helicopter pilot, with a commercial helicopter pilots license, I served in the Little Rock District Corps of Engineers as a programmer in the computer department. I served in research and development at Fort Leavenworth Kansas. I served as a company commander in two companies, fire fighter company and in a combat engineer company in Germany.

I spent 12 months in Vietnam flying about nine hundred combat hours as a pilot and platoon leader. I was assigned to Fort Rucker as a Fire Firefighter Company Commander responsible for sixty firetrucks and four hundred soldiers. Supporting firefighter training and operation of training of pilots on stage fields.

I served in Germany as a combat engineer company commander of 120 soldiers and millions of dollars of equipment, military community commander in charge of one hundred employees and two thousand residents and all facilities it takes to operate and maintain a small remote town.

In Bryan:

I have owned and operated three businesses. Built them and sold them. Two insurance agencies and a driving range.

Public service:

I have been elected to the Bryan City Council for 12.5 years. I was term limited in Nov 2020. I served as Place 6 At-Large and Single Member District 4 members.
